Laura Di Tomasso is the legal business name. Please make all checks payable to my name. You can pay by credit card if you prefer. Payments are expected based on the agreements negotiated prior to our engagement. The agreement will contain all required information and is the sole legal contact for services rendered.
Laura Di Tomasso operated as part of FS Clinical Research, Inc for legal and tax reporting purposes. Further information is available upon request.

This website and/or associated services do not intend to collect personal data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from parents or caretakers. We are, however, unable to check whether visitors are 16 years or older. We therefore recommend parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent any data being collected about children without parental permission. Should you be convinced we are collecting personal data of an underage child without permission, do not hesitate to contact us at laura@lauraditomasso.com so we can delete that information.
Purpose of data processing
Laura Di Tomasso processes personal data for the following purposes:
To execute agreements
For sending contracts, and work related correspondence.
To be able to call or e-mail you when necessary to provide our services.
To keep track of coaching hours in a logbook for the purpose of getting certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Automated decision-making
Laura Di Tomasso does not make decisions based on automatically processed data about matters that could have (significant) consequences for those involved.
How long we store your personal data
Laura Di Tomasso does not store your personal data any longer than absolutely necessary to achieve the goals the data was collected for. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
All notes and related documents associated with our coaching relationship are secured in a locked environment, either electronically or physically. After 1 year of completion of our coaching, documents will be destroyed.
For ICF credentialing purposes, your name, email and phone will be permanently maintained along with the dates and hours we worked together.
Personal data via emails that was provided to execute agreements: as long as you are a customer and up to 1 years thereafter. This is needed for mutual communication.
Sharing your personal data with third parties
Laura Di Tomasso will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information to them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreements or to comply with a legal obligation. Laura Di Tomasso utilizes third party providers as follows:
Squarespace - Laura Di Tomasso website host does not store client data. All forms are sent to a Google Drive managed by Laura Di Tomasso and follow the same personal data policy as stated above.
Acuity Scheduling, owned by Squarespace - Manages all appointments for all clients and potential clients. Administration is only accessible by Laura Di Tomasso. See Acuity for their privacy policy.
Stripe - Laura Di Tomasso processor for all credit card payments. No credit card data is collected or accessible to Laura Di Tomasso directly. See Stripe’s privacy statement.
Zoom or Skype - Laura Di Tomasso conducts coaching over these platforms and allows for clients to record on their Zoom accounts. The security of those recording is up to the client. If upon request, a client allows Laura Di Tomasso to record a session, the session recording will be secured as described above and within the written agreement. Please note, the use of Skype and Zoom have their own privacy statements.
View, modify or delete your personal data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Intention. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal information we hold in a digital file to you or another organization.
You can request access, correction or deletion, a request for the transfer of your personal data, withdrawal of your consent, or object to data processing by sending an e-mail to laura@lauraditomasso.com.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social security number can not be visible on this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.
How we protect your personal data
Laura Di Tomasso has taken appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification of your personal data. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at laura@lauraditomasso.com.
Please be aware that if you are using a device provided by an employer, the security of electronic data stored on these devices including emails, contact list, electronic notes or any other electronic imprints of our coaching relationship is the property of your employer. Laura Di Tomasso is expect the client to manage their own personal devices that may contain electronic information which they wish to keep confidential.
